Great pictures Martyn. I can't remember which tartan you have on in the first two pictures.
My fav is the one of you by the sea..Just great.
Have you experimented with the hose rolled down I think it give a good rugged look.
All the best ...David

Great pictures Martyn. Do you double as a model or what? Those picture could just as easily be used in a Kilt catalog, in fact they're better than the pictures in some of the catalogs I have on my desk!

Baird tartan...
Martyn,
My Scottish great-great grandmother married a Baird -- also from Scotlnad -- well done, sir! I have always fancied the Baird tartan, especially in the "ancient" colours!
Cheers!

Wow they do look great Martyn, I love your black kilted suit, very smart, and I love the hiking piccies, what tartan is the one of you seated with a backpack?
Where was the sea shot taken? that could easily be Tasmania!
Only slightly negative comment is that I thought the semi formal sporran was a little formal for hiking, but you're a handsome hiker anyway!

Baird...
Yep, Graham, your observations are correct -- the Baird Ancient is considerably lighter than the Baird Modern, the same way Gunn Ancient compared to Gunn Modern.
