    Just a question

Are there any members on XMTS that are Cilted/Kilted Bird Watchers and go off in search into the countryside. Also re started our little bird feeding tables in the back yard and trying to capture some pics (not brill through the window though). Just realised the
stopping point was the Swan ..

We're not much in the way of wanderlust, but we do feed our birdies regularly.

They've also nested in the big wreath that "Mother Bill" made next to our front door.

And they do like their accommodations in the garden.

Glad to see you are back Derek. I should be kilted more often when trying to photograph my flying neighbors. I have been collecting data on the woodpeckers in my area for the MS. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. I have seven varieties that nest and produce offspring in the two miles of my house.

The photo I find the most interesting, is when a Pileated woodpecker was upset that my oldest female cat encroached. Here is the photo.
Here is a red headed on my telephone pole.
A common flicker landed in the yard.
    Here is a red bellied.
My all time favorite (not a woodpecker) is a male Summer Tanager bringing food to its chicks.
I must add the female feeding the same chicks.

Thanks for the update Derek and good birding on your journeys.

I really like your Cilt, and intend to buy the same one. I also have the same haircut as you. From the back it looks like it could be me sitting there, but I always wear a hat.

    nice shots

I love to go out and wander natural places and if a bird will sit long enough for me to take a shot it makes me happy but for the most part birds hate me and wait until I start pushing down the shutter to fly away.
