Well met to our new member from Sweden. Here in Oxford, Mississippi USA the word "dump" has many other meanings. Thanks for clarifying the question.

Did you get those from Clan Alba (tartans4less)? I have used them before myself, and would absolutely love to hear your feedback/ impressions on what they sell. I will hold my opinion for now so as to not influence yours.

    Thank you,
    Rob

Yes, I did. I've gotten two others from them as well (see http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...e-kilts-85745/ ). I would describe myself as a happy customer - the kilts are great value for money.

Now you've got me intrigued about your experiences with them, so what say you?

I like the thompson grey tartan. I bought a horribly made kilted skirt by james pringle weavers in thompson grey and I disassembled it.

The Thompson Grey is about an inch or two too small for me right now. It would have been a perfect fit last year when I was running more. I told them it was too wee and they said I should send it back for a full refund as they didn't have a larger size to send me in its place. I liked the tartan so much I decided to keep in case I up my running volume again. It really is that nice. I thought it looked good when I only had pictures on the web to go on but when I first saw it in the flesh I decided there and then that I wouldn't make any hard and fast decisions about a tartan based just on pictures.
