Kilt Night Louisville KY 24 January 09
Since folks are asking for pictures, I'll toss this lot up. Six kilted men, one kilted boy and four significant others met at BBC in St Matthews for a bit of socializing. The food was good, the beer even better. BBC is a micro-brewer, and presents a range of good stuff made on premises. Some of their products are available bottled at local retail outlets as well.
I don't want to name names at the moment, as I'm sure I would forget either a) someone's name or b) their screen name here.
Here's the table. I took the shot, so all you see of me at the moment is my jacket on the back of my chair:

BBC has a small stage that served well for a group shot of the kilted males (including young Carter):

Other cameras were in use, and there was at least one with much more flash power than mine has. I trust at least one of the owners will provide an image or two for us.
Lovin' the breeze 'tween m'knees!

I've not seen Andy post on here, but I'll ask him. I want to say it's Irish National, but I am even worse at tartan identification than I am with names.

Close...I Think....
Could it be the "Irish American Tartan"

Originally was thinking "Irish Diaspora Tartan"

but on closer look I think it is the former...

Spencer?
Yes, it is the Irish-American Tartan from Scottishkilts.net... 5-yard, 13 oz.
It was hella cold that night, but a great spring-summer kilt.
*My friend and pipe bandmate has the "Scottish-American" Tartan... also a great looking kilt.
