Kilt Night with the Saltire- Nights 2&3
We held a second kilt night at the Royal Mile Pub, last Friday.

Davedove, moi, & newbie doncoh58 (welcome to XMTS - I got him to sign up and even show up at a kilt night Don is a fellow square dancer.
Dave is wearing the really nice Dove tartan, box-pleated. I'm in my Bear Tartan, boxpleated and Don in a Utilikilt.

Dave is holding the wee airship. It was a pleasure to meet you Dave.

Kilt Night 3
I came back the next day (last night) for a third kilt night before the wee airship is sent on its way - to where ? you ask. You'll find out soon enough!
This time, DryFly and wife came to the kilt night. What a sweet and lovely couple.
I took a picture of the lovely Barbara taking a picture of hubby DryFly holding the Saltire.

Ahh. Mael Coluim finally was able to join us (the darned traffic near Potomac Mills delayed his arrival. We are honored that he went out of his way from Spotsylvania to join us. And he needs to be ready for his exciting journey to Alba for The Gathering, the following day (today).

The current owner stopped by our table and was curious if there was a special event or games going on. He had seen me two nights in a row! We just said that we're members of an online forum getting together and treating the Saltire to a night out. I told him of the website.

Oh look, we even had live entertainment. I really enjoyed their selection of celtic music - had a good variety in it. They even threw in a Scottish tune and our table (which was right up front) got special mention from the lead vocalist/guitarist.

After several songs, the lead singer couldn't help himself and was most curious about the dirigible.

And of course it wouldn't be complete without Barbara (DryFly's wife) in the picture!

I enjoyed the evening very much. The company was excellent and so was the food!

You folks all look fabulous!
I'm delighted that Dave finally got to meet up with our forum's mighty zeppelin.
Did you hand off the XMTSAS Saltire to Mael to travel to Scotland or are their further adventures planned for the east coast?
Cheers
