    kilt pin

This is the kilt pin that had the ladies at the bazaar so enthralled. It's an e-bay special. I kind of liked the sentiment in the motto. I will probably end up getting the matching badge for a cap as well.

    Very cool pin.

I was at the thrift store a few weeks ago and came across a brand navy blue new tie with tiny yellow rampant lions and small red stripes that proved to be the motto "Non Illegitmi Carborundum" over and over again.

I know in latin the word order doesn't matter. I wonder the difference between "Illegitimus" and "Illegitimi" , plural vs. singular perhaps?

Very few people are likely to get it (which makes it more fun).

    Cheers

Gaelic Themes makes those pins along with the matching Cap Badge and Clan Crest Belt Buckle.

I keep a supply of them in my shop and have adopted it as the Freedom Kilts Motto.

I have used the same for my personal motto for many years.

I'm down to three Belt Buckles but if anyone needs one, right now, an e-mail or PM can have one on it's way to you.

BTW, don't go looking for the design on the Gaelic Themes Website they don't list it. I know Rocky has a commercial account with them and can order them as can I.

I got that one from e-bay. The vendor was Avancehighland. Don't remember the price.
