This is a Black Stewart from Stillwater Kilts that I'd ordered earlier this year. The belt, hose, and pin arrived this week in time for a Christmas pottery show outside Athens where I plan to break it in. I'm really looking forward to this!
Looking great! Have fun!
Looks good! Hike it up a bit, though. Kilts look best at the top of the knee.

Good looking kilt! Will definetly look good on its test drive at the pottery show. Congratulations on its arrival.

You should definitely wear the kilt at your waist. The proportions will look better & you'll knock 'em dead at the show. :-) Sherry
There's nothing like breaking in a new kilt. One of my favorite pastimes ;-)

Looks great, but let's see some knee.

I definitely agree that you should wear your kilt higher. Remember, a mans waist is not down barely above the crotch no matter what Madison Avenue would have us believe. The waist is just barely above the navel. Not only does it look funny to have so much upper body going on above the kilt belt, but worn properly a kilt is quite slimming.
I get the hint.. I'll hike it up more. This was the first time I'd put it on and didn't have any experienced kilt-wearers around for advice. Thanks for the comments!
Yeah, nice lookin' Kilt. That's a Stillwater Standard, correct? I think the Stillwater Standard is more comfortable and looks better than my Stillwater Heavyweights. BTW, what kind of vest is that? I have been looking for a vest to go with a Jacobite shirt. That one looks good.
