It was great Glen. And in that climate the kilt was awesome! And I got to share it with the real beauty. I added her pic to the gallery.

Aw man! My friend wrote a blog entry about the song "Caribbean Queen" by Billy Ocean, and I finally get it out of my head. Then, I come look at the forum, see this, and the song's back. :P Arrrgh!

Great pics though, despite lame 80's songs that get conjured to mind.

    Thanks Guys.

I can really see why men in the south pacific wore mugs. I was very glad to be kilted while walking thru the ruins. Even the slightest breeze was appreciated and not having the legs of baggy shorts clinging was huge benefit.

I got a lot of strange looks and one American female who said she had been in Cozumel for 12 years was wondering if this style was popular in the states and she would begin seeing more people coming down wearing kilts. I don't know that it was out of appreciation as her tone sounded more of wonder. But hey, I was comfortable and I wasn't wearing my kilt for anyone but ME! Wear a kilt and see the world!
