Kilted at Chihuly in the Garden

My wife and younger son and I went to see the Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. There's a few threads already about the gardens but I'll go ahead add a couple pics to the mix.

In that first photo, my wife wanted me next to the century plant to provide scale. It's huge! (I'm 6'2".) We took a million photos but these are enough to give a small sense of the exhibit and the environment.

The kilt is great for strolling about. I got a few benign looks but no one said anything until we were leaving when woman asked if I was from Scotland.

I told her I wasn't and she, with my permission, took a photo of me for a girlfriend of hers who's been twice to Scotland and who, she said, would've loved to have seen my kilt.
