    Kilted at the Dog Park

My dog, Lane, a rescue Australian Cattle Dog mix, and I go to dog parks regularly with a group organized by the developer of the BarkHappy app. The organizer had asked me when I was coming kilted. I went yesterday in cotton utility kilt as I knew it'd get dirty from dog slobber and muddy paws - and it did. Lane got in on the act with his plaid sweater. Note how muddy the bottom is. It got a lot muddier. That's a treat carrier on my left side.

It's always good to see rescue animals! I myself have two dogs who were purchased used from a Sheltie rescue we worked with out in Arizona, we fostered dozens of shelties over the years, our two were (happily) foster failures that we couldn't part with.

I was running down there along the Town Lake Trail that morning. Must have been at a different time - have never seen a kilt being worn by a runner (except me) or a dog walker in my 25 years of using that trail. Keep it up, I'll look for you.
