Kilted for Easter Pics
Thought there'd be a thread already....okay...will start one.

After a succulent Easter Brunch at The Rainbow Room at Lake Powell Lodge. Mix of tourists and many small town friends - the Catholic and the Episcopal Padres, friends I serve on board of directors with, folks I just know from around town. Very down home. Yet, all day, not a single question or mention of the kilt...guess folks are used to me kilted by now.
Kilt is Macdonald Lord of the Isle hand sewn by Kathy Lare. Unusual in that it's 10 ounce wool, all that was available when it was sewn up 10 years ago. But I love it. My "Gang Colors."

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."

Nice pic Ron... I too am in a MacDonald kilt - modern. Had a busy day with 2 sons their wives and 2 of our Grandkids over for brunch. My bride and I rustled up French toast, waffles, ham, bacon, fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Sorry, no pictures, so I guess it didn't happen
Cheers...

You and the desert are looking good, Riverkilt, although that big lake looks a bit out of place, as always.
Hipbilly, that sporran you made looks really good with that kilt you made!
