Kilted Fun With Statues In Cedar City, Utah
Cedar City, Utah honors its founders - mostly English who followed the prominent faith in Utah. And, it honors its annual Shakespearian Festival..with statues. Was visiting yesterday and a friend showed me around.

Henry Lunt, a founder of Cedar City.

Francis Webster who built "Old Main" on the then young campus of what today is Southern Utah University.

Richard Harrison, who got the first iron foundary going in the old days when making iron was even more tedious than now.

King Lear, I'm stealing his crown...stuck...dang...

Kissing sweet Juliet...butt out Romeo!

Slurping up some of Falstaff's slop over.....
After playing with the statues stopped by St. Jude's to walk the labyrinth. Not often open. Got lucky.

Ron: Great pictures! Looks like lots of fun. Just what are you intimating to Juliet? "At lovers' perjuries they say Jove laughs". By Jove!, it got a smile out of me, too.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Shame on you, Ron. You're a dirty old man. Lol! I say that out of kindness and friendship, sir. No offence intended.

Cool pics..... I think you need to get some of that bronze body/clothes pigment (whatever it is, it looks like bronze) and do your self up as a bronze statue and stand there with them ~ a living kilted statue
