Kilted at the Historic Fredericksburg Antique Automobile Club of America Meet Up

The local chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America had their Annual Meet in downtown Historic Fredericksburg today. I entered my Triumph Spitfire. It was a beautiful day for the event. There were a few British cars. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday. Here are a few pics.

Think you are referring to this one, Hawk. It was a pretty exotica specialty car with a Jaguar nameplate.

    Here are two XKE Jaguars.

This one came in 1st place.

Yes Mael, this is the one. And I do believe it "is" a 1969 Jag.....have a friend that is in the process of restoring one, same color. ( ....and I won't even comment on the "cigar store Indian" in the background - very poor taste...opps, I did comment.... )

    ERN,
I think your picture is an example how a flat cap can look very good with a kilt.

    Good inclusion!

I'd love to come up for this next year. I have a 72 Jeep Commando that I enjoy taking to the cruise in on Friday nights on Rt. 1 just north of Richmond. My dad was big in the Richmond AACA back in the 60s and 70s. Among the many cars he had was a 1911 Model T, a 30-something Packard coupe, and a 40-something Bentley. Thanks for sharing the photos.

What a coincidence! This was in my inbox this AM on this Jag that piqued Hawk's interest.

It can be yours for only $450,000!
