Hi Everybody I've just got back to work after 5 days holiday ( Japanese Golden week ) and I am happy to say that I did not wear trousers, pants nor jeans for the whole 5 days . It was awesome to be kilted everyday , I only wish I had more kilts as at present I own a SWK economy Black watch and a Celtic croft Gunn but I'm aleady planning on my next kilt purchase maybe something lightweight for the humid summer here in Japan. Anyway please check out the link below to see my new kilt photos that I've just added to my webshots page. http://community.webshots.com/myphot...ecurity=tTLxNq By the way the jacket I'm wearing in some of the photos is a tweed jacket from a used clothing store that was re cut into a kilt jacket I can tell you it's a lot of fun wearing a kilt in Japan Kilted kiwi clan Lamont & Gunn
Awesome, another ambassador of the kilt! That tweed jacket looks really good. I also like the fact that we share another mutual addiction. . . pipes. I noticed two different ones in the pictures. I especially like the 'natural' stained one on the train. Is that a Peterson? I've got one that looks similar to it that's a Peterson.
Konichiwa Kiwisan! guid oan ya laddie!
Hi, Great pics; you really look sharp and I particularly like your sporran. Thanks for posting. Bob
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.
Well, Kiwi, as a good proportion of Japan seems to live in Ealing (west London)(there's even a Japanese School there), which is a couple of miles down the road from me, I get some inkling of what you mean. And, as Scotland doesn't stand much chance, "Buidhinneadh Sealann Nuadh an Cupan Saoghal Rugbaidh 2007" (New Zealand to win the Rugby World Cup 2007).
the pics with the cherry blossoms are exceptional! Looks like the trip was great!
Looks like you had a great time. Wonderful pictures and you make a good ambassador for the rest of us.
nice pics!
Great pics! If you care, you can follow the link below to get yourself on the Gunn map. And from Frappr, you can take the forum link the Yahoo Gunn group & join up. We'd be really happy to have you (the Gunns in the rest of the world need to balance out all us Texas Gunns. )
Great pics. Looks like an interesting place to visit. It's on my list.
