Kilted in the Rain - Truckee River

[Riverkilt]

Made it into downtown Reno, Nevada today before the big reunion. Got some shopping done - a real treat for this small town kiltie. Rained most of the day, did risk the camera for a quick pic on the Truckee Riverwalk near the Virginia Street bridge.





Pretty fancy river walk. 45 years ago it was just grass down to the river.

Kilt is my hand sewn Kathy Lare in Scott Modern Red. Was fun to explain to my cousins and nieces and nephews that this was their tartan too.

Great photos. Been many years since I was in Reno. I used to fish the Truckee as a kid of 11-12, when we lived there fpr a year, and, yup, it was grass and reeds to the water, then.
