Went to a 5K run/walk for Down syndrome at Old Trace Park in Ridgeland MS. These kids can do anything. After I retired from 29 years in the Army I have worked with these kids for ll years. Sorry no pics of kids as some do not want their kids pics published.
Later went to the Cock of the Walk restaurant. When the waiter kneeled down next to me to take our order he said that he liked my socks. Then he saw I was wearing my 511 TDK. He thought it was great. The best part was when another gentlemen came in wearing a kilt. Unusual for some of you to see someone else in a kilt, maybe not, but here in Mississippi this was a first for me. I have been wearing kilts for about 8 years. On my way out I stopped by his table and told him it was great to see someone else wearing a kilt. Maybe we are starting a trend!
