Kilted in Toronto
My lovely wife was required to travel to Toronto this past week for training on her company's new computer software system, and I went along to care for our 1 year old while she was in her class. While in Toronto, my son and I have spent lots of time on the bus and exploring. We spent time at the Busker Festival, and on the weekend my wife joined us in a trip to the Busker Festival and a LONG walk around downtown Toronto.
At Busker Festival:

At Roundhouse Park (near the Steamwhistle Brewery!)

On the boardwalk:

And a cousin picked us up on Sunday for a trip to Niagara Falls. My wife and I are pictured here with our son in the stroller, with the American side of the falls in the background:

It's been a busy week, and I have enjoyed my trip more than I thought I would! I am looking forward to getting home to my other 3 kids on Thursday though!

Great pics, Toronto is one of my favourite cities!
Good to see the old office building on the US side of the Falls is still standing!

mmmm Steamwhistle. I also miss Creemore Springs Lager which is usually only sold on tap at select establishments. Do yourself a favour and try that brew before you leave.
I lived in Toronto for a decade from the mid nineties to the mid naughties. I also grew up in Hamilton and we went to Niagara Falls at least once a year. Thanks for sharing these nostalgic places.

Some great pics there, Stiavo. But you will have to take the little tyke back there someday when he is old enough to remember it all!

I'm happy you enjoyed Toronto with your Family. Now, I haven't seen you in pants, but you look great kilted.
Regards!

Yes.. Toronto is on Lake Ontario. I grew up in downtown Toronto (Bloor and Ossington) but moved away when my wife got a job offer in London Ont. Still miss it everyday.
Thanks for the photo's I think I'll run down the street now and get some Steamwhistle

As a BC boy all my life, I still look at the great lakes and wonder "what ocean is that?" There's no way that much water can be in ONE lake! It was the strangest thing to walk the waterfront without the smell of the ocean... Guess I'm getting homesick... Good thing I travel home tomorrow!
