Kilted Weekend
Went to Mississippi State in Starkville, MS Friday night to see the play "The Pirates of Penzance". I wore my Royal Stewart kilt, white dress shirt and royal blue hose (sorry no pics). No sooner had I walked in the lobby the lady selling tickets loudly called out "I love the Kilt". A gentlemen then came over and told me he also wore kilts and played the pipes. As I was walking out a collage student behind me said to his friends "Dudes look he is wearing a kilt, you rock man". He had several questions about kilts and where I got mine. Told him about Xmarks and about the kilt partners.
My daughter was the Production Stage Manager of the play. After the play she came out and said she wanted to introduce me to someone. It was the same ticket lady and her boyfriend. They asked kilt questions and are going to order him a kilt.
Saturday went out to eat lunch with my wife, daughter and one of her friends. While waiting to be seated a gentlemen seated next to where I was standing tugged on the hem of my 511 TDK and said "Love the kilt". As he and I were paying our tabs he asked about the 511 TDK and where to get one. Told him the 511 TDK story. He also said his dad wore a kilt and that he should have worn his as it was a 85 degree day. All and all a great kilted weekend.
