Me & Gabrielle & Poppy 90 Remembrance Sunday is on 11th November and the Royal British Legion Society were out and about in Carlisle City Centre with a variety of fundraising events for this year's Poppy Appeal. We had our photo taken with one of Eddie Stobart's Volvos. Pipe Band and the Old Town Hall In the background Buccleuch and Queensberry Caledonia Pipe Band put on a performance, with the backdrop of Carlisle's Old Town Hall, built in 1717, which is now the tourist office. Bikes Galore Later, the Roadburners Motor Cycle Club rode into the city square to lend their support to the Poppy Appeal. Lest we forget.
