Knave of Hearts
The San Jose School of Highland Dance performs a Holiday show each year (often in combination with the Mackintosh Pipe Band). Each show has a different theme. Last time it was "The Celtic Year" and this year's was "Alice in Wonderland".
The Red Thistle Dancers were asked to participate and a set of us performed the elegant strathspey "Minister on the Loch" as the court of the Queen of Hearts. I had a lot of fun choreographing the dance with Alice wandering into it and us having to dance around her.
We modified one of our performance costumes to become Her Majesty's Courtiers and here we are.
It turned out to be a successful and well attended performance and it was so much fun sharing the stage with such talented young dancers.
