the queen mary festival, gatlin gun at the dicken fest, 2nd day queen mary, riverside dicken festival, in all of them all the pictures I posted now appear as ads for photobucket. Is that what everyone else sees or just me.

That's all I was seeing when I looked last night at the Queen Mary Festival thread. OCRichard's pics which he added to the thread were showing up the same. Photobucket inviting you both to purchase more bandwidth.
Just checked again a moment ago and still showing up as Photobucket ads.
I suspect the problem lies with Photobucket and there is nothing we at xmarks can do, but if you want I'll move the thread over to Tech Questions forum. I'll also draw this to attention of my fellow moderators.

I just checked a couple of mine (also photo bucket ) and they are fine...

I had another member comment that they also found their photo links broken.

This is something at the photobucket end. I really do not know what has changed or why the links have changed.

You are not the only one that this happened to in the past few days Grizzbass. All I can suggest is go to your original post and edit it, refreshing the links to your photobucket account.
