last day of 2011

I am currently a volunteer on board 2 WWII ships in the San Francisco Bay area. The SS Jeremiah O'Brien, a Liberty ship that participated in the D-Day invasion of Normandy, and the only ship from that invasion to return to Normandy for the 50th anniversary in 1994. I am also on the USS Iowa, while she is in the bay area. She recently came out of the reserve (mothball) fleet and is having some work done before moving on to her new permanent home in San Pedro (Los Angeles) Ca.
This attached pic was taken on Dec. 31, 2011 while I was working on the ship. Please pardon the footwear. I had to be on my feet for 9 hours that day and my 73 year old feet needed something very comfortable to wear. Normally I would wear something a little more appropriate. The kilt is my Clan Stewart ancient hunting kilt.

You didn't use Photobucket - to add a pic, for example you use the IMG command like this "" and the file url goes in between the two 'img's in the brackets. The last img in the machine brackets should have a stroke/slash preceding it.

Once you have uploaded your pic into photobucket, so save aggro, simply click on the 'img code' option to the left of your pic, then <CTRL-V> to paste it

Looking at the page coding, this was the data string I found:
http://http://s1083.photobucket.com/...Dec312011a.jpg

IF that string was correct for the image, (which it does not appear to be, as I'm getting 'server not found' errors for it), I should have seen:
{IMG}http://http://s1083.photobucket.com/albums/j389/sailortats/?action=view&current=Dec312011a.jpg{/IMG} (exchanging the {} for []).
