    Leather Jerkin

I forgot to post pictures of the WPG (UK WWI/WWII replica) leather jerkin, so here they are...

Really thick leather...ideal for nasty weather outdoor activities.
The jerkin was designed for military use, so it's a bit wide at the bottom to provide room for webbing and other stuff.

I love it, but it's not suitable for warm weather...not something I would wear over a polo shirt. I think it looks best with a warm sweater.

    I Like It

Robin - I like it. Probably too much for the hot weather in my area of Texas - but none the less I like. I had to come out of my motorcycle leathers here recently. It was just too hot. I can think of many a good day your's would have been handy to have during my stays further up North.

Very nice. And it looks really comfortable, too.

    Very nice.

Reminds me a lot of the replica War II RAF groundcrew munitions vest I just sprung for from Orvis.

I wore it a lot before the summer hit, just never took a pic of me in it that I recall. Works great as an alternative to a sporran too due to the large pockets.
