Legion Padre
I had the honour and privilege of performing the interment for a Scottish member of the Royal Canadian Legion today.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning . . . .
Rev'd Father Bill White: Mostly retired Parish Priest & former Elementary Headmaster. Lover of God, dogs, most people, joy, tradition, humour & clarity. Legion Padre, theologian, teacher, philosopher, linguist, encourager of hearts & souls & a firm believer in dignity, decency, & duty. A proud Canadian Sinclair with solid Welsh and other heritage.

What a wonderful way to serve one who performed such high service.
It's unsolicited, but an observation: you might consider lowering your sporran a bit. I find they typically look best if there's a little of the kilt showing above the top of the cantle and the bottom edge of the hair is at or below the bottom of the kilt.

Appreciate the advice, but it doesn't work on my body. If I hang it there, it hurts!

Best not to hang it where it hurts Father Bill.....What a wonderful sending off you gave the Legionaire . I'm sure all of the Legion members will want you to officiate at their going on .....Well done sir
