This uniform is very interesting to me because it shows a modern version of the old Service Dress tunic which was introduced to the Scottish regiments in 1908 IIRC and was worn AFAIK up until around the time of the Coronation (1953).
This is, as best as I can recall, the first post-Coronation photo I've seen of that tunic.
