Lookin' Good at My Chem Concert.
August 19th, 2011, My Chemical Romance came to play with Blink-182 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater for the Honda Civic Tour. So, since my mom is really cool, she got tickets to see them as a birthday present. XD (In case you didn't know, my favorite band happens to be MCR, if I had to choose a favorite band)
So when it came time to go to the concert, I made a decision to kilt-up for the rockin' event. I was the only person there in a kilt, which makes me feel pretty special. So naturally, pics had to be taken. Here is me at MCR, rockin' the kilt with an MCR shirt.

Picture of me next to the tour bus, just chillin'.

Pretty much the same picture, only Hamish.
Easily one of the best nights of my life. Thanks, Mom! XD
(BTW: Sorry for the poor picture quality, my cell phone doesn't work too well with pictures in low-light conditions. :P The kilt is a Wallace tartan and the shirt is white and says "Look Alive, Sunshine" and has an atom-bomb in the middle with "MCR" written on it)

Travis was with them last night. They reformed in 2009.
My Chemical Romance was great! Had a great night with my son.

Nice one,
At the moment I only really wear the kilt formal style at weddings or my running kilt at races but you've inspired me to get it on a lot more.
Good work.

Certainly, not to take anything away from you, but you either have great parents or mediocre parents who got lucky. My vote is for the former. Tell me how they raised you so I can turn my little guy into a quality young man like yourself.
You look great, lad!

I'd say it's a bit of both, with maybe a smidge more of number 2.
My advice is to keep talking to him, especially in the middle school/jr high time frame, and no matter how uncomfortable the subject matter - don't lie to the boy. If he can't count on you for the truth, who can he count on?

C_GR: Happy belated birthday! That was a great present from your mom. Don't tell her I said this, of course, but it seems like she really cares about you.
Nice kilt. Great outfit for a rock concert, with or without PK. My son loves the Wallace tartan, but doesn't have a kilt, yet. Also, what could be more rad than an atom bomb T-shirt? I assume it is in the process of disassembling. They were invented here, you know.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
