That is a nice kilt and a lovely tartan! However, as David said, "You need to be in the picture"!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Great looking tartan - I can't wait to see you wearing it! Now, how about a few details - you know the usual stuff - kilt maker, fabric, yardage, jones time...

I forgot about the details. Sorry. The kilt was made by Ms. Evelyn Murray, at The Atholl Brose in Cambridge Mass. The kilt is 9yards of 16 oz. wool (of course). I placed the order mid December, and the kilt was ready last week. Interestingly, the jones time wasn't because it takes a while to make a kilt, but because she was busy. I was worried when I went in to the shop in mid-March, and was informed that the kilt hadn't even been started. Fifteen, sixteen days later it's ready. I'll post pics of me wearing it as soon as I get them.
