I was at this great party over the Indepence Day weekend and some of my friends who had never met one another started jamming. I took the mic and we had some fun.
Kilt on body, beer in hand, jammin' with your buds, DUDE you rock!!!!

Drinkin' beer, hangin' with friends, rockin' out, wearin' a kilt. What better way to celebrate Independence Day?
What you can't tell from the photo is pretty funny. This party was in a SMALL Cape Cod house. The band was playing upstairs, in a semi-finished bedroom. I was standing right up by the opening to the stairwell, which had no railing. The party guests were almost all downstairs and outside. If anyone walked halfway up the steps, turned, and looked up, they would have had quite a view. It couldn't really be helped because if I went backwards anymore I'd be sitting on the drum kit, and was flanked on both sides by guitars & amps. Luckily I don't think word got out. I only know that one person discovered this, who was gracious enough to complement me on my *ahem* "grooming", but I don't think let word out because none of the other lasses came to peek.

But with a few exceptions, most had never met one another. It was a collapsing of social circles. Our own Declan Rowan was also there, but I think this was his second outing with La Clique.
