Mardi Gras Ball 2014
Every year some friends invite me to attend the invitation only formal 'Mystery and Fantasy Mardi Gras Party' here in Houston, and we always have a good time.
Before we get to the photos, I should explain 2 points;
1, The party is Black-tie or 'theme costume' only, This year's theme was "Science Fiction".
And 2, The event is sponsored by a primarily gay Mardi Gras Krewe.
On to some photos;

Here's me arriving with Drea, my adult supervision for the evening. I didn't wear my Sith outfit because its hot and heavy, + I don't get to wear black-tie enough. And yes, she is over 6 feet tall.

The floor early on before all of the 1500 guests rolled in.

The Borg 'Queen' and a Starfleet officer. Star Trek was a popular choice- our running joke was that there was more Starfleet there than at the last sci-fi con we attended!

Shelley and our friend Mike in their MIB outfits with LaForge and Data

The Fifth Element was a popular theme too, I'll spare you the photo of the guy dressed as Leeloo though .....

A good time was had by all!

Another soiree with more photos? When do you find time to work?
As usual, another great set of photos.
I like the round buttons on your PC. They just look better than the stock square buttons.

You're looking good (as usual) Zardoz. Your "Adult Supervision" is pretty, too. I wonder how many members scrolled up after Highlander31's post? Thanks for sharing.

Actually not a PC, it's a converted tailcoat, based my own design. Here's a thread about it; http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...-jacket-70522/
I should come up with a name for it..
