Master of Ceremonies 29th Degree
Tonight we performed the 29th Degree at the Scottish Rite Valley in San Diego. I was pleased to serve as Master of Ceremonies for the degree. This degree was last produced almost 20 years ago and it was a good time being a part of it. I also had the pleasure of helping out several others in how to wear the Kilt properly.
This is due to all of your help here at XMarks to me in figuring out dress myself!

Re: Master of Ceremonies 29th Degree
Well Father Bill,
It was a good night and a pleasure to perform for the Brothers. I understand that the "Powers that Be" have expressed an interest in having us do it for the new Squires entering into the Knights of Saint Andrew in the fall.
I had the pleasure of serving as the Chieftain of the Knights two years ago and we have experienced tremendous growth in numbers of Brothers joining their ranks over these last couple of years. It was fun to be a part of rekindeling that interest in the Valley.

Looking good, brother! Glad to hear you had a good time and were able to mentor the other kilties!
It's always a treat to hear about a brother in a kilt!
You know that there are a number of registered Masonic tartans, right?
My two favorites are Freemasons' Universal STA# 6245 and Grand Lodge of Scotland STA#5776.

Re: Master of Ceremonies 29th Degree
Well done, brother. I'm surprised how many of us there are on this forum. Our Spring Reunion in Denver is May 10,11,&12, if you are in the neighborhood then. We do two reunions every year and try to exemplify all of the degrees between the two sessions. I play in our brass band and don't get involved in the floor work. I will be K.S. in my blue lodge in about a week.
