At Moore's Creek
Not the greatest pic, but fits the category. It was a nearly perfect day at the Moore's Creek National Battlefield. The wife and I took the kids along,14 and 16, lass and lad. We didn't think they'd be that into it. Boy were we wrong. There's hope for the next generation after all! Saw a few kilts, of course on the living history folks on the Loyalist side, and a couple of fellows just there to have fun and learn like us. As we were leaving we spotted a family sitting out front in lawn chairs, dad, mom, kids, and maybe some aunts or uncles all decked out in the "Loud Macleod". I assume they were in attendance to honor Captain Macleod who died in the battle charging the Patriot guns.
