The future of kilt wearing is secure:

All three young 'uns of this family were kilted. I could only get a pic of the youngest as the other two never stopped running.

This young gent enjoyed his highland weekend. I am working the information tent at the time he came to get his "Passport" stamped. One of the youth activities involves getting a "Passport" and taking it around to all the clan tents, and the various Scottish organizations and getting it "stamped". The clan or Scottish organization usually imparts some information about itself to the child. It is a way of teaching about Scot heritage, and making it fun at the same time.

We even had some young Drum Majors amongst the competitors. Here they are with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pipe and Drum Corps.

At the opening ceremonies, the clans all march onto the Parade Ground. Sixty-five clans were represented. Plenty of kilts and tartan on display.

More to come
