    Multicultural

Last weekend I attended the Jewish wedding of two of my friends. Happily the kippah (yarmulke) matched my tie and flashes. 8-)

    Well done!

Congratulations on wearing your kilt to a Jewish weeding... sorry, wedding. It makes not a jot of difference who wears a kilt, as long as they like wearing it.

    Andrew,

That really is neat the way everything blends together. You look wonderfully comfortable.

It's the Irish Longford county tartan. It looks just as good in the woods as it does in a suit:

This is the second Jewish wedding I've worn my kilt to; I was in the wedding party of the first one! (There were no tuxes, it was just wear what suits you owned, and then everyone wore matching ties.)

The kilt helped me out at this wedding - there was an open bar, so I'd already had one or three scotches.... I was talking with friends near the bar, and the bartender came out and approached me, saying, "You look like you need another scotch." I said sure, put down the beer I'd been drinking, and got the scotch. Then my hands were full.
