Muskogee Oklahoma Ren Faire

Just thought i would post some pics of me at the Ren Faire in Muskogee Oklahoma. While my outfit wasn't "period accurate" it was well received and was even selected to be in the Costume contest by many of the workers. I opted to carry a walking staff that i made myself instead of a sword because really who wants to lucg a claymore on there back for hours on end and how many really carried a sword with them everywhere they went.

Had a great time posed for more pictures than i can count and left with a sunburn. A great day overall.

Looks like fun! The Colorado Renaissance Festival is 12 days from opening day. I can't wait, and your photos are just making it harder!! I love your outfit, by the way.

it worked out well. First timei have been to one so i figured out some things i will do different next year. Mainly a Hat. I wear a ball cap all day at work so my forehead wasn't used to the sun. Also a sporran with some more room Probably Rob Roy style will be had by next year.

What was nice was watching the guys with the cheap 25 dollar "kilts" have to hold them down in the wind and me just walk around like normal.
