My First Burns Evening, Mobile, Alabama
The wife and I attended our first Burns Supper here in Lower Alabama and had a lovely time. I even managed to capture the "Bonnie Knees" competition!

The Scottish Society of Mobile is a small group, but all charming and friendly people, and we are enjoying getting to know them all.
Many thanks to all the wonderful folks here at X-Marks who've helped me get started. My kilt is now a fixture in Mobile at most Mardi Gras parades we attend and quite a few parties and concerts as well. And its always well received!
Thanks also to Rocky for my kilt in Thompson Grey and my wife's matching sash.

Glad to hear that your knees caught a prize. It seems your lady was the better prize, as she looks to enjoy herself. Also glad to hear there is a small but strong group to join.
