My First Kilt (Updated)
Everyone was right, You get hooked and buy it all.
I Love my sporran suspenders.

I didn't realize my fly plaid slipped back a little until after I had the pictures taken.
I know the fly plaid is for special occasion only but I wanted to showcase it for the picture.

That's a big upgrade over your first picture. I wish nothing but the best for your wallet.
The Wallace tartan is for you!

I can't wait for my Irish National Tartan Kilt and Fly Plaid to be finished.
And when I formally join Clan Cunningham (My Grandfather's Surname) or Clan Collins (My Grandmother's Line) I'll get the Clan Tartan as well.

I think I kinda look like Roddy Piper. I have the Hot Rod shirt too I like to wear with my kilt.

The Kilt is being made by American Highlander. I like their stuff because it feels really good and hearty and I've always gotten good service from them. The only drawback is it's 80% acrylic 20% wool. But they're thick, well made, and I like them so far.
The Fly Plaid I'm getting from Tartanista on Amazon. They made the Fly Plaid Brooch I'm wearing in the picture. The Fly Plaid in the picture was made by Celtic Croft though, out of their homespun tartan.
I love my Sporran Suspenders because when I wear the chain it goes under my gut and I don't look too flattering with a gut bulge above my sporran.
