My Kilted trip to Edinburgh

This was us at the show after we got our trophy for best club stand. Only 1 bloke would put on a kilt for the entire day every one else would only do it just for the picture and 2 has troos on under the kilt" so sad I know" They were all my kilts and sprrans I took to lone out. The red one is a new one I picked up on line and was delivered to trhe show by one of the bloke displaying . its way to big for me I don't think ill even be able to make it smaller like other ones . But its a gamble some times and it fit Hugh so not a total loss.

The only other person Man enough to were the kilt all day

We kiped down in the van and went to look at various places from Hadrian's wall castles and monastery's
I could not get the little bugger in a kilt out side of the show ether shame as he looks so good in it.

Some more pics from our journey back down south. I love spending time with my son and this trip was Good bonding time with him we had a lot of fun .

Can you believe it they tried to charge us to go in a church. I don't think so I said we are hear to worship please step aside. we got in with no problem .

Kilted in York, now THAT'S courageous. Many of the locals are likely to have some very deep ancestral memories of marauding northern invasions past and furious and may have reacted instinctively in self defense. With such a small invasion party, you may have been lucky to get out alive.
