My latest and probably last acquisition for quite some time!
My Black kilt arrived in time for the weekend from scottishkilts.net so I finally got to try out an outfit I've had in mind for some time.
Apologies in advance for (a) the pics, the camera's been playing up and (b) the rather dour look on my face, I was happy, really, I was!!
Firstly with the Kenmore Doublet......

then, more casual like, without

Students of the Lord Vetinari school of coolth will be reassured to know that, although not visible, I was wearing black flashes and that my ghillies were correctly tied military style. It doesn't do to let standards slip!
Does anyone here recognise the T-shirt logo? (Bob, I'd be surprised if you don't!)
Isn't it interesting how many shades of black there are?

I was admiring that T-shirt even before reading the question! Looks like one of the chalk hillside horses, I've been to one but don't recall the name. And never saw a shirt that cool!
Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].

It's the dashing Uffington white horse, balances that casual look nicely, too!

Spot on Moosedog,
does that make you a fan of Terry Pratchett's Nac Mac Feegle?

Excellent, and looking forward to meeting shortly.
I realise this is a bit of a flyer, but you weren't outside the Eagle and Child on St Giles this lunchtime were you? There was someone in a black kilt, suit style in a small group as I rushed in late for lunch with a colleague.
Best wishes
Graham.

Yes, very smart indeed.
And the elegant Uffington White Horse which, as Londonpiper well knows, is just up the hill from my home town, does indeed set it all off magnificently.
