    Myself after Kirkin Service.

Our Scottish Society was invited to a Kirkin O the Tartan at a local methodist church today. I carried the sword for the procession.

This is what I decided to wear. I think it looks ok but lets see what you think. Just a shout out to our own David Pope. Thank you for the hose they are fantastic!

I like the jacket, especially with the elbow patches. How'd that come about?

The jacket was used when I got it so there was some wear on the elbows and I put the patches on myself.

    Harold,

Glad the hose fit. It's great seeing the Dress MacMillan in action. Good choice!

I do think the MacMillan Dress Tartan doesn't get enough use. When it is used it is normally reserved for formal settings but I think it can work well for daywear. I will admit it is a challenge though.

You are well turned out and have plenty of personal flair, so I say you're looking good as long as you took your bonnet off once you got into the kirk

He was bearing the sword. IIRC the only time you are "covered" indoors is when "under arms", or is that a popular misnomer?
Have fun and throw far. In that order, too. - o1d_dude
