New Hand Sewn Ancient Macdonald of Kingsburgh Kilt

By Kathy Lare. Her 4056th...15 of them were mine.

16 ounce Strome woven by Lochcarron.

Yes, had one before - it's my "home boy" tartan...Kingsburgh is about 5 miles south of Uig Skye where my family is from. When I "outgrew" the first one I gave it to my brother.

This is the first hand sewn kilt I've had since I lost all the weight - which makes it the first kilt I could wear properly - without a big gut - a totally different feel. Who knew?

Was out and about at the Arizona Renaissance Faire this weekend so that was the maiden voyage for the new kilt. Was most pleased to see so many kilts at the Faire.

And how could I not get a Viking Scot French Braid?
