    New Kilt

So, I ordered a MacDonald kilt for my son and I. He's 3 1/2. I wasn't sure when he'd hit another growth spurt, so I went with SportKilt for both of us. I'm also working out with my wife so we can lose a little weight and feel better. I was at the lower end of the XL size, and if I lost a couple of inches, I did't want to drop a fortune on a kilt that was too big. So, here's a pic. For the options I wanted, throw in another $20, and I got the highland shirt, hose, flashes, pin (gave to my son since I already had a MacDonald kilt pin), and sporran.

It is a little loose in just a t-shirt, but with a slightly thicker shirt, it fits a little more snug.

Yeah, but let's see the kid - he's undoubtedly a lot cuter than you!

Poor fella looks like me as a kid, except he has blonde hair. I have one on the phone, but have to resize it to upload.

You both look smashing! So nice to see the youth kilted with big smiles.

Sean loves it. I took him to the Loch Norman Highland Games last year because he wanted to see the bagpipes. A friend of mine is NC Commissioner of Clan Donald USA, and Sean has always taken to Stretch. We got to hang out, and see the pipes. This was him every time the pipes would come by us, hanging out at the Donald tent.Click image for larger version.

I think there is a "bezerker piper" in your future. Bless your wife's heart and sanity. (Unless she is an enabler.)

He loves hearing the pipes, but he wants to play the "twirly drums" (tenor). He also wants to get into highland wrestling. Just gotta teach him not to start beating someone when they are down. He does that to his brothers and sisters (brothers are almost 13 and almost 10, sisters are 12 and 10). Sean is brutal, and is pretty good with a Nerf sword, or any stick he can beat the heck out of you with.

We have nicknamed him "Seanzerker" because he is so wide open. I'm Heathen (Asatru/Odinist/whatever name one might call it). He's always wanting to hang out with Thor and to fight. Isn't shocking.
