    New MacQueen 8-Yard Knife Pleat

After slowly gathering up accessories, I finally purchased my own kilt in March.

It arrived the first of the month and I have just now had a chance to take some (pretty low-quality) pictures.

    What do you think?

Awesome bro, that is absolutely perfect in my opinion. If someone sees something to correct with how you a wearing everything then they are just wearing hater pants, because that is brilliant dude.

You look great! Wonderfully made kilt in a rather handsome tartan!

    Cheers,

I thought this was a no pants zone...

Outfit looks good... and where else would you get away with red blue and yellow looking good... just shows how versatile a kilt truly is...

But i gotta say the aesthetics of that pic just bother me... i know picky picky...

I really like the contrasting red kilt and yellow hose. Very bold! Not something I would have considered trying to pull off myself...but now I may.

Are you talking about photography or the colour choices?

If it's the photography, there's not much I can do there. As for the colour choice, my wife prefers this ensemble with red hose instead of the yellow, but I absolutely love my yellow hose and, up close, I think they look pretty good with the thin yellow line in the tartan.

I think you ought to! I have nothing but praise for these yellow Lewis hose, and they certainly draw attention to themselves.

I like the use of the gold-hued hose and green garters. I'll have to get a set to go with mine.

It looks great!! As some others have said, I would not have attempted the red/gold combo myself (just not brave enough) but I will now that I see how well it comes off.
