New Old Tweed Kilt Jacket / Waistcoat Combo and MacGregor "Red & Black"

    Hi gents,

I just wanted to take a moment and post this recent picture of my wife and I. We were attending a 50th wedding anniversary, held on a small island in Northern, Ontario, at the local town hall. Very charming space.

The couple is of Scots ancestry, so I though it appropriate to get kilted. I'm wearing a recently acquired vintage brown tweed jacket and waistcoat, an Ebay UK find, and the MacGregor R&B tartan kilt of course.

    K.

Very nice, especially like the jacket and waist coat. Would like to see a closer shot.
It appears your wife was upset at the photographer, did the photo taker survive?

Funny you should say that Hawk, I thought about including a little blurb about the expression on my wife's face...hahaha. She didn't know the picture was being taken. There was actually two pics, she looks angrier in the second. She wasn't though, he just caught her with a weird facial expression. Truth be told, she'd probably kill me if she knew I posted the pic ;-)

I'll make sure to post some close-ups of the jacket on this thread. It's rather very lovely and fits perfectly, which is always the risk when ordering online even if measurements are given. I got it at a fantastic price. Original stag horn buttons to boot.
