Well, the Tannahill Weavers were in town last night, so I figured that was as good an excuse as any to wear my 3 day old Stillwater Irish National Standard out on the town. Met a buddy at Shannon's Irish Pub before the show for pints. THEY ACTUALLY HAVE TENNENT'S ON DRAUGHT!!! And, it was pretty good, too! Had some scotch eggs and a few pints and headed to the show (which was GREAT! that piper is amazing...). Anyway, shown here is the new kilt with matching flashes/oatmeal hose/tan brogues/sporran and belt (and sgian, but ye kinnae see et) by Mike McRae (Scotia Metalwork) -- and the long sought after pint a Tennent's!
And notice the bifurcated gent on the barstool looking forlornly at your kilt and wishing HE had the class to wear one!
Very sharp. I like the Irish National a lot. The brown brogues actually make me like brogues a tad better... but I'm still not completely sold on those yet.
Nice picture and very well put together outfit.
Not the biggest fan of Tennets, but I AM a big fan of the Irish National kilt! Oh, and Scotch eggs are good too.
strap a kilt oan that lad!
Great looking outfit! I'm sure the Weavers were happy to see fans showing their Celtic spirit!
Looking good.

Nice! I really like the brown leathers with that.

All in all, a VERY handsome outfit! I'm just surprised that you'd wear the hose and ghillies in your climate this time of year.
