    A nice surprise

My mate called around yesterday and gave me a blue sweater that was to small for him. Would'nt take anything for it so I bought him a pint. It seems to go well with my walking gear. Here's a pic.

    Hi,

I have a similiar sweater by LL Bean, and I believe the style goes very well with a kilt. The blues in your outfit really look sharp.

You took the very words from my mouth, Bob!

Bob's right you know Derek. As I began to scroll down this new image, I thought, "Yes! We have a 'new' Derek here." Well co-ordinated blues; he's looking so good. But then, the brown boots came into view. "Oh no!" I said aloud, "He's gone and ruined the whole effect with brown boots. Oh, Derek. Derek!" Methinks I'll have to take you shopping next time we meet!

More like the .303 SMLE Lee-Enfield Rifle, p-37 web gear and a "soupbowl"!

The "wooly-pully" was developed by the Royal Marines and the SAS, after all!

ahh...I stand corrected. Almost like calling a MacTavish dress blue tartan Blackwatch...for which I would almost certainly be flogged!
