    A night in Denver

Driving to Denver and about ten minutes after I took this picture the woman in the slow lane swerved to the L-R-L and then sideways doing about 75 and she went into the center medium rolled twice and landed in the eastbound lane facing the right way. I immediately pulled over ran across to her and tried to open her door but the impact jammed her door so I went to the passenger door and pulled her out. She was visibly shaken and only had a slight cut on her elbow. As I was caring for her in the grass other people pushed her truck to the side lane and we waited for EMS and the sheriff.

I am standing outside the ships tavern at the Brown Palace Hotel.

At the Katie Mullen’s Irish bar there were many interesting displays.

Here are some gargoyles outside my window.

As a moustache wearer myself, I must say the new image is a great improvement.

Well done, on your quick thinking.

    Regards

Nice photos. I hope the flash from your first shot isn't what caused the lady to swerve...!

Oh and I know you're joining our proud ranks of Law Enforcement, but growing a "cookie duster" isn't necessarily a requirement... ;)

    Denver Art Museum

Today I went to the Denver Art Museum and I would have to say that my favorite exhibit was the Fox Games 1989 by S.Skoglund.

I like to call this one Oops!

    Crazy baby.

    Clean sweep.

I like weathered, worn, rusted, chipped things that are not perfect and this are is great. I think that it was six thousand pounds of rolled steel without any bracing.

    I will post more Monday.

Was that at the Coburn Hotel perchance?

Glad to see you at the Wynkoop. Well not personally anyway.

My wife and I love the Brown. Are you staying there? I must recommend the trout and eggs for breakfast if you are. The Churchill Bar has great scotch and a very fine selection of cigars. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Oh heavens dear I could not afford the Brown, perhaps for two nights with a lucky woman and I am not lucky that way. Staying across the street at the Comfort Inn and out room service menu is from the Brown, so I feel like I am almost staying at the brown.

Streetcar, the mustache is a temporary fight against the system since I am quite unable to grow a pony tale and beard in 21 days.

Cheers all and keep reading the post for the future pictures.
