Went out to a dinner dance come auction fundraiser for a local community project. Great night of good food, good beverage and good company. Outside during the 7:30 for 8:00 moments. With our good friends Sarah and Arthur. The chaps The chapess's Me an' Mee lurvely wifee. The only kilted bloke in the place. One lady offered to buy my kilt (for a lot of money actually) if I took it off and gave it to here there and then. Needless to say my devotion to the charity cause was proved lacking. I asked her why my kilt? And why didn't she try to buy some trousers? She replied that the trousers didn't do anything for her... But the kilt did. Funny how folk behave when they've had a drink... or two.

Wonderful company. Good for you. I'd have kept the kilt too but would be sorely tempted.
Very smart! Looks like a lot of fun! (and I wouldn't have given her my kilt, either)
Looks a grand time John. Great pics. Iechyd Da Derek

"Daddy will you wear your quilt today?" Katie Graham (Age 4) It's been a long strange ride so far and I'm not even halfway home yet.
Great pics and it looks like it was a grand evening! Glad you had a good time.

So you know what to do next year, wear a cheap one that you can sell and get the ball going and get a lot of money for it.... Just have another one handy if it sells and don't forget to cover up.... Maybe some boxer short with a witty remark about the charity...
It was for charity. You could have rented it to her . . . .
