    NYC Tartan Day Parade Photo's

The Night before the parade my wife and I went to the Caledonian Club
Ceilidh we ran into Galician and Freelancer.

Here are some other shot of the night.

The Next day at the parade my son Ian and his friend David having fun before
    going over to the parade.

    The whole crew after lunch.

My son proud of his new Kilt.

After watching the weather reports all week starting with rain forcasted for the parade we were all very happy to have such a perfect day for the parade.

It looks like you had a great weekend! Thanks for posting all the pictures. The youngsters look like they had no qualms whatever donning the kilt!

I'll just identify the rabble (and their tartans) in the group photo we took after our pre-parade brunch.

L-R: Cowher (Old Scotland Weathered) & Mrs. C.; Cirthalion (Braveheart) & Arithelien (J. Crew!!!); the MacBean clan in their family tartan; Duncan, who is a native of Scotland (he can be seen kneeling in the photo above-Graham of Monteith) with his wife and son (Black Watch); Keith A. with his wife and son (both boys are wearing the Allison tartan).

    I was behind the camera.

The dancers in the photos are from the Highland Dance School of Glasgow, and dance a mean Highland-Hiphop fushion. I'll try to post a video I took of their performance.

Nice photos of the Ceilidh and parade Keith. You even got me playing the snare drum. It was quite unexpected. The band had the drum, but the drummer didn't make it there. One of the pipers I knew, asked me to stand in for their missing drummer, so I was honored to join in the group.

It was a pleasure to meet you and David.
