Unusual situations to be wearing a kilt...

Me trying out a shower/bath/jaccuzzi at the Royal Welsh Show, no water was involved!

    And standing up!

And a close up taken of my new McPherson Red whilst watching geese being herded by a sheepdog at Hay on Wye. The sgean kiltpin was purchased in Gatehouse of Fleet on my recent trip to Dumfries.

Wow, that bath looks amazing... but I bet it would be a pain to clean!

Ah, well, another reason to hire a maid, I suppose!

Trefor, no matter what the Sales people told me about there being no water connected to a display like that, I would not risk my finery by getting inside it - not for love nor money!**

I do like your McPherson Red - it is a beautiful tartan, of that there is no doubt.

**By the way, I have just confirmed an order on a new bathroom and loo - and have depressed myself by the realisation that, for the same price, I could have ordered about 36 new kilts!!!!!!

Might have shrunk your kilt if the water had been on. Don't know if you would suit a mini-kilt. I do like the MacPherson red.

I have to say that I really like the hose & vest with your kilt -- looks sharp! (I'd have left the belt at home, though. Much cleaner look to not have it pokiing out from under the vest. "Cleaner" - ha! No pun intended, shower notwithstanding!).

All baths and showers are pains to clean so hopefully a combined one is less so!

Well I wouldn't usually sport a belt with a waistcoat but I was wishing to emphasise the Welshness of the cilt with as many dragons as possible!

And Hamish, it was much drier in the shower than it was outside! Oh, I bought one by the way! They are throwing in a sink and loo as well! I wonder what average kilt price you used to come up with the fact that you had denied yourself 36 new kilts! I guess I have denied myself 9 or 10!

Just seen guys in kilts on BBC's Cash In The Attic too!

I was averaging £250 per kilt, Trefor. Well, let's settle for 30 rather than 36 shall we?

Fantastic pictures. I love the hose and vest with that kilt. You look great in that outfit.

That's a sharp looking outfit Trefor! Probably one of the best put together outfits I've seen in a long time! Great job!
