    The Old Man's first kilt

A few pics from the Bearsden and Milngavie Highland Games last weekend.

This is my Stepfather's first kilt (he is Irish but has lived in Scotland for over 40 years) which I got him for his upcoming 80th birthday in July. I think he wears it well, particularly the caubeen which I got him as a homage to his Irish heritage. My mum, in particular, is delighted with it.

What a super thing to do for your Stepfather. Great pictures too.

Never too late for an old dog to learn new tricks. He wears it very well indeed.

    Well done, Fitz.

I don't think my father would wear one, but I'm planning to get one for both of my brothers as an early Christmas present this year.

He looks like he's been wearing a kilt for years!

You both look very good in your kilts - relaxed and comfortable. Your stepfather looks much younger than 80. That's probably because he is young at heart - certainly looks so with those lasses. Thanks for posting.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I agree! Maybe it's the wine? Thanks for posting the pictures.
