A few pics from the Bearsden and Milngavie Highland Games last weekend. This is my Stepfather's first kilt (he is Irish but has lived in Scotland for over 40 years) which I got him for his upcoming 80th birthday in July. I think he wears it well, particularly the caubeen which I got him as a homage to his Irish heritage. My mum, in particular, is delighted with it.

What a super thing to do for your Stepfather. Great pictures too.

Well done! He looks great in it and very comfortable... Cheers, Tom

Never too late for an old dog to learn new tricks. He wears it very well indeed.
Lovely photos, thanks for sharing! Cheers,
Well done, Fitz. I don't think my father would wear one, but I'm planning to get one for both of my brothers as an early Christmas present this year.
He looks like he's been wearing a kilt for years!

You both look very good in your kilts - relaxed and comfortable. Your stepfather looks much younger than 80. That's probably because he is young at heart - certainly looks so with those lasses. Thanks for posting.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
